Not discounting the pilots balls, but they (NOAA, Air Force) fly planes through every hurricane. My understanding is it's really not that bad until they get to the eye wall as the winds are mostly horizontal.

I mean, I've heard that, but we were using it on Xbox live playing H2 when it came out in 04. I always thought it was a play on the word, kinda like noob evolved from newbies.
