Wouldn't all those cameras and other electronics get fried from the EMP?

They dropped a tactical nuke right on top of a big fire. What are the odds?

Don't know. Depends on the yield, I guess.

Nah, most likely a very large fuel air bomb.

Tell-tail sign of a nuke is the initial blinding flash also, which this one didn’t have.

Set off a few of these at Barksdale but definitely not as large as in this video. For a small one we used to have to call the tower and let them know due to the plume. Definitely think you are spot on.

Don't know enough to say in any capacity, but I do find it interesting that absolutely no one in the news is talking about the Houthis pushing in the Saudi's bunghole.

The sound effects at 1:10 convinced me that it must have been a nuclear bomb.

Dispelling Hollywoid myth here:

Atmospheric detonations of nuclear weapons do not generate a damaging EMP.

That is exclusively from high altitude bursts.

I loved the corny phrases.

HEAR THE NUCLEAR ENERGY BEING SPENT!

PROTON BOMBARDMENT BEGINS!

I also chuckled at how blatantly they post processed to simulate an overexposed photo to brighten up the blast.

What is the point of a "tactical nuke" anyway?

If you're hitting a small target just use a regular explosive bomb? Or are you just try to spread radiation over a minute distance?

A tactical nuclear weapon is designed to be used on the battlefield with friendly forces within close proximity or within contested friendly territory.

They can be anywhere between .1 and 15 kilotons in yield.
