Riding a 4 wheeler is something I wouldn't allow my kids to do. I know of several deaths or severe head trauma from them.

I dont think Ive ever run across anyone with permanent injuries caused by kiddie football. I don think the risk is that great. When they get in HS, its something to consider.

Tried out for football in 7th grade (school in El Paso). I would follow the plays so rigidly that I was worthless. I didn't understand going with the play as it developed. I got cut. Coach commented that I was good at football when we did it in PE, but not on the organized team.
But, in 10th grade at a different school, I figured it all out. Football is good for you.
