Netflix is threatening to discontinue filming in Georgia if the anti-abortion law that was passed doesn’t get overturned. That’s right, they are baby killers

Was going to wait til Disney plus came out to cancel but it’s happening today.

If you read the article it makes sense.

If all of your potential employees refuse to work there then investing more into the area is bad business sense. Netflix isn't taking a political stand as much as saying that the celebrity boycott could have an effect.

Can't we compromise and only perform abortions in rest rooms that accept trannies

The fact that companies are coming out in support of abortion just makes my head spin. These CEO’s are idiots. Public companies shouldn’t play with fire.

Netflix is threatening states over politics?

One day people will realize abortion is murder. The same people that get angry if someone post a hunting pic of a dead deer think it’s fine to kill human babies.

Hopefully Georgia follows Mississippi's lead whenever an industry or company threatens to leave or boycott. They just say "k bye" or "there's the door".

Mississippi did that when Nissan threatened to leave over the bathroom bill a few years ago and Nissan shite themselves. Needless to say they shut up and are still there

I'd be pissed if I lived in a state where "outsiders" are trying to blackmail the populace into submission about something they felt was immoral. I suspect:
A. This will blow over in time or
B. Hollywood will pull out leaving Georgia/Missouri and anywhere else and leave the industry in the lurch.

The whole scene is ugly as residents in those states likely don't want outside influence hanging over their heads. One reason we have states rights is so people can decide how they want to live.
I don't think the Supremes will ever outlaw abortion from what it is now so this is likely much fuss about happenings that will never happen.

As long as it's the upper class areas of Mexico City that are whiter than Portland, sure.

The main sentiment was GTFO if you're a pussy who says frick America just because someone disagrees with you. Enjoy the paradise of Honduras. I'm sure there's not a streaming service threatening to leave the hogar because of their abortion stance.

Belize is where it's at. Everyone speaks English, liquor is cheap, and the chinese own all the grocery stores so they're run like well oiled machines.

Here we go again with conservatives thinking their boycotts work I've posted this several times, but these boycotts help these companies especially the Tech ones. People said they were going to boycott Netflix after they signed the Obamas, the only thing that happened was Netlix added 9.6 million subscribers and made $4.5 Billion in the last quarter of last year (3 months)

Good for you for supporting a conservative company that aligns with your values like Disney instead
