Redoing the sod is minimal compared to a broken sewer main. You won’t notice till it backs into your shower a month later. They’ll load 10yd trucks and crush it and possibly the water line as well. In addition to that, if you keep up with your lawn, be ready for introduction of all sorts of weeds from the new dirt to the trucks brining it in.

Solution: have him rent a line pump....

This 1000%. There’s no guarantee that this won’t happen. Sets you up for a humongous pain in the arse and no telling how long or how much money it would take to fix. Absofrickinglutely not.

Nope. That contractor is not going to fix any ruts. Stand your ground.

No means no. A good neighbor would understand that. Obviously he is not a good neighbor.

Your neighbor, who may be a nice guy, is being a total dick by even putting you in that position.

The weight of the concreek trucks could potentially bust water lines or conduit in your yard unless they put down properly sized mats. Tell him the ruts will be the least of his concerns and to use a boom truck

If hes acting like this now, I'd go ahead and crank it up another notch and voice my concerns about his project affecting my drainage. I'd go ahead and contact whatever developement or zoning committee you have in your city and let them know youre concerned about possible negative affects his project may have to the surrounding areas. Not just your own.

frick that guy.

Drive a concrete truck loaded with 30 yards of concrete on your yard?

That’s hilarious

First of all, I doubt he has even checked with the concrete company. I don’t think there is any way they are driving a fully loaded concrete truck onto mud, that shite would sink like a rock. A fully loaded truck can weigh 35 tons.
