I think it’s more that, other people shouldn’t care if you’re kids are sleeping at 8:45.

I once had a neighbor complain that I was making too much noise at 6pm, FOH I don’t care if you’re napping

Just because someone keeps unusual hours shouldn't mean that the rest of the world has to walk around on eggshells. Anything noisy before - 9:30-10pm and after 7am is acceptable in my book. Get thicker windows or a noise machine.
