Hipster sneakers are the only way to go. Find some throwback puma or adidas in a neutral color and rock them with pride. Own your shite and it'll look good. Make sure they're comfortable.

Do you have to wear a Vineyard Vines button down with them ?

Nice. I have a few pair of Borns. They are my casual shoes. They are always comfortable and really go with anything that's not formal.

I'm 36. Nothing goofier than a 36 yo white guy in Puma's.

Those are frat as frick, and guaranteed to make your feet stink. Then you'll be starting one of those OT threads about how to make your Sperry's not stink, and there is no correct answer. Never understood that.

Every pair of Borns I own are really comfortable. They are reasonably priced, too.

Whatever you get, make sure they aren't a sockless type. You can rip me for wearing Pumas at 37, but I can rip dudes wearing sockless shoes just as easily. You think hipster sneaks are bad? Ask your old lady what she likes better when you kick off a pair of sockless leather shoes after a night out. :gross:

My contention is why would you want to have to go through all that if you don't have to? Your nasty arse feet will still stink while your Sperry's are in the freezer. frick that.

Dudes need to wear what's comfortable and stylish. A real man can find something cool to wear, own it, and not have to worry about stank foot without rocking a pair of all white new balance with their jeans.
