I’ll be at Costco tomorrow buying 2 new runners for the old Accord. Been putting it off for awhile but tomorrow or Wednesday it’s gonna happen. 2 Cooper something or another’s, that’s all I know.

Researched the brand I wanted (Michelin?) and bought them online at Sam’s Club. Called them to set up an appointment for for install which they did on-time and in about 30 minutes. Tried TireRack and the others, but Sam’s was consistently at or below every price I found. I’d imagine Costco is similar, but I’m poor, white LP trash, so I have to shop at Sams. There’s a law about that I think.

Thanks for all the help. The tire size is an odd size (245/60/r20) so the selection is limited. I was told by one shop I could use 275/55/r20 and get a larger selection and lower price.

Costco has the michelin defender ltx installed at $829.92. That is around $250 cheaper than any local shop.

MICHELIN DEFENDER LTX M/S

I’ve had these on my 2015 Tacoma since Fall 2018. I like them. They ride good, seem to be wearing good. Wet road performance has been really good. Overall, I am happy with them.

They're kind of stepping on my toes there, man. I'm trying to start up UsedTireRack.com right now. Got $10,000,000 of tier 1 mezzanine angel capital lined up. We gon' disrupt the used tire space.

Same here. In and out in about an hour. Had to walk to Bass Pro and blow an hour in the fishing section. Sam's does tires correctly and they are cheap AF.

It got a little narrow in a few places, and got a wheel off the ground a couple of times...but nothing too bad. Just cruising the old bombing range roads outside of Alexandria. Those are mostly spider webs, we tried not to stripe the wife’s ride.

Probably not what the Swedes envisioned we’d be doing with this thing.

Bought some Yokohama XAT’s yesterday. So far so good. Very aggressive but quiet on the highway.

Every time I buy tires I feel like I got fricked out of money. I really hate buying tires.
