Old Money is adamantly opposed to the removal of all statues except for Liberty Monument.
Mitch called out Frank Stewart, who then bitch slapped Mitch by taking out 2 full pages to directly address his shenanigans..

this makes a great deal of sense to me...

frick that. Riding is one of the highlights of my year. Just the thought of the next ride makes shitty days less shitty.

I will ride until I die or can't ride no more.

What I don't understand is how any trade group or organization can hold conventions or shows in New Orleans while Mitch has done nothing about changing the names of streets currently named after Confederate figures. It's time for some SJWs to make this an issue.

I'm still wondering when he's going to start a movement to pull down the statues of Sherman, McClellan, Burnside, Grant, et al ... you know, since the Civil War is over and all ....

They clearly don't care that much. The statues are coming down and I don't see any old money new orleans families marching in the streets about it.

Comus, Momus, and Proteus definitely cared when Dorothy Mae Taylor tried to push her will upon them.

They really showed her.

They will be nothing but a figment of the imagination in a few years.
