Autism is already set in a kid before most of the vaccinations are administered…

Yea! Screw those idjit doctors and big pharma. Don't go to them at all and don't take any of their meds. The Strep, middle ear infections, rashes, pneumonias, etc. will pass. Just give 'em vitamins and supplements from somebody online. You don't need no damned poison.

Because the general public is apparently too dumb to understand herd immunity

Your lack of intelligence is actually putting my kids at risk

That worked quite well for Covid.

You know what else has increased? Telling kids they have autism or some other such junk.

Back in the day we were just quirky kids and didn't need labels

The rise in childhood autism began as soon as the Cincinnati Reds dominance in the National League declined.

Is it coincidence? Could be, but it might be Sparky Anderson's fault, too.

You have to study it out for yourselves.

People have been fricking and having children for thousands of years. What has changed in the last 20 years? Must be the chemicals they put in the water to turn the frogs gay.

Maybe the diagnoses improved from "don't know what to tell you, yer kid's just a weirdo"?

Just a hunch.

Two distinct issues:

One, the genetics associated with autism were less likely to be passed on, parents were less likely to be older, and babies of difficult births were less likely to survive the farther back in time you go.

Two, there didn't used to be a spectrum with regards to autism diagnosis. There was just 95-100% autistic and the rest of the people where we now recognize people who are "20%" autistic. It is similar to buying a telescope, looking at the night sky, and exclaiming there are more stars than there were yesterday.

The definition and criteria for Autism.

Since it first became its own diagnosis in 1980, the Autism net has grown significantly wider. When that happens and Autism awareness is pushed among caregivers from doctors to teachers, you're going to see a significant increase in the diagnosis.

I don't give a shite how Autism is measured. My son is getting the same vaccines I got as a child. Keep getting your covid boosters. The CDC says it is effective. I ask for recommendations for a pediatrician and you frickers keep lecturing how great childhood vaccines are. Did you make them? Do you know what is in them?

As a doc with an with ASD (autism spectrum) afflicted kid, I can tell you I've looked hard at this issue. The MMR (Measles-Mumps-Rubella Vaccine) was the suspect agent. The best evidence (and it is very good) is that the MMR does not cause, and is not related to autism.
