They already have broken out in Covington. Well they were assisted in getting out due to some people cutting the cages but they got out in the mid 90s.

The Tulane Primate Center does not keep chimps since I think the seventies. They did have some baboons when I worked there but most of the non human primates they breed are smaller rhesus monkeys. Employees that had worked there in the 70s and 80s said the chimps were hard to deal with. Even these smaller monkeys can learn from watching people unlock there cages and escape themselves but was rare. And typically if they do get out they just sit outside their cage and wait for food.
I’m also pretty sure there is a lot of public articles and there are definitely 1000s of published scientific journals about their research done there. It’s not some top secret facility.

I don’t know. Gene Hackman did that to Morgan Freeman in Unforgiven] and Clint Eastwood killed him and all the deputies in town. The chimps may want revenge if we start leaving their dead friends out for show.
