If China would have actually taken this seriously they could have contained it to their backward arse 3rd world country.
Instead the paid of the WHO, the UN, and every other international governing body, allowed this virus to escape their boarders, and now are trying to white knight in and save Europe. frick you china.

Why didn't National Review link directly to the Nature article? Why did it link to another story published by the South China Morning Post? Do you find that odd?

Possibly not.
The Chinese are saying that US military athletes either contracted the virus at Fort Detrick in the US prior to or intentionally created the outbreak when they participated in the Wuhan 2019 World Military Games in October.
quote:
After the 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic, conspiracy theories about COVID-19 attributing the virus' creation to the CIA emerged. Some articles on popular sites in Chinese have accused American athletes participating in the Wuhan Military World Games to have deployed the virus. They claim the inattentive attitude and disproportionately below average results of American athletes in the game indicate they might have been in for other purposes and they might actually be bio-warfare operatives, and that their place of residence during their stay in Wuhan was also close to the Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market, where the first known cluster of cases occurred.

China is a 3rd world country with nice cities. Once you get outside of the cities it’s a 3rd world shithole.

Is this the same Chinese Communist Government that said in January of this year there had been no human to human transmission? Was this the same Chinese Communist Government that claims no one was killed in Tianmennen square? Is this the same Chinese Communist Government that claims they are not holding a million Uyghurs in political prison camps?

Western and rural China essentially are. For God’s sake they don’t have enough food that people resorted to eating bats.

Even in the cities, once you get out of the shiny parts they show off, it is 3rd world, almost as bad as Central City in New Orleans or Jackson, MS.
