43 is going to break the ice with his corney humor...I bet he's going to say something that makes everyone uncomfortable but will at least make them laugh....

He will also make people cry at the same time...

Pretty awesome scene yesterday with Bob Dole standing up to salute 41 yesterday

Always loved Dole’s sense of humor. He was joking about running for president this last election Said he wasn’t old enough yet though

If I remember correctly, the country lost its shite when Reagan died and the response to ford was an afterthought by comparison.

Reagan's funeral was like a coronation for a king.
Well deserved IMO.

Didn't help that Reagan's was the first big state funeral since LBJ's (31 year difference) and that Ford's was during the holidays/New Year's.

Plus...Reagan.

Seeing their icy reception to him just angers me to my core. This is a funeral, not a campaign event.

Obama shook hands with Trump, and Melinia, greeted them in a friendly manner as they sat down, as did Michelle. Hillary never looked at them.

Yep.Props to Bush family's class. And no, I am not a Bush apologist.

OTOH Imagine the cumulative wealth, political social media academic military sports entertainment power & connections in that church.
Unreal.

Bill shook hands and Hillary looked over and did the head nod. Don’t be fake news.
