Hey that intersection is fricking entertaining to watch any given day.

However. Natchez has a fricking flyover at 61. Lets see Pville get that where they have 10x's the number of vehicles per day at 61@73.

A God Damned flyover for 61 in Natchez

Yeah I've notice that with all the geologist and geological companies there. CPE is based out of Natchez.

That's where the old man Callon lives, they don't drill there or anything like that.
It's a quaint town and I think it has what it needs. It's not Savanah, and I don't see why it needs tourists.

Stay At Dunleith. Eat at the Castle. Hit the Antiques Shops on Franklin. Get a poboy(they are really good), margarita, and tamales at Fat Mamas.
Gamble at the decent new casino on the river.

Visit the Natchez Cemetery AND the National Cemetery just a 1/4 mile further up the road.(The absolute best view of the Mississipi River. YES Bold Statement that even Mark Twain agreed with).

Other good local joints for food and drink. Cotton Alley, The Camp, Magnolia, Saloon, Carriage House, Natchez Brewery.

Some of my favorite homes/plantations are Stanton, Monmouth, Melrose. Obviously Dunleith is the most popular.

Also, the ones who did not want to pay private tuition moved to Vidalia cuz we have the top pub school around. And Vidalia's nothing like Natchez. It's growing, businesses are coming in, and real estate is through the roof.

By "top pub school around" do you mean "less black in Concordia Parish?" Yes, Monterey is whiter, but it is "less growing."

They build a Johnny's Pizza in Vidalia and all of the residents cum in their pants thinking they have a booming town.

This is bull shite. People like to talk out their arse and claim the the bluehairs did all sorts of stuff. It just makes for a good story--thats it. The blue hair's husbands have family wealth tied up in real estate which has also suffered.

I've never heard of Fredricksburg, I don't think lots of people outside of the south know about fairhope, but it is on Mobile Bay, The other two are major destinations on the Atlantic Ocean so its easy to see why they are popular also not sure if Savannah and Charleston are still "quaint".

Supposedly Fred Callon is the main reason CPE still has its headquarters in Ntz. Makes sense as they used to mess around will the small wells around Ntz but now basically all their work is in west Tx in the permian basin.

It would make sense to move the hq to Houston but like I mentioned, Fred has kept it in Ntz. Many of the ever scarce white collar jobs would disappear if they moved.

Old country club is a soybean field. I pass it every single day going to work. He has no idea what he's talking about.

Nothing I've heard of. The county is trying to develop the golf course area to make it attractive to some industry that would benefit from being close to the river.

I think Johns Mansville has some shite they need to clean up but that was from back when it was operating and not "letting some company dump it there"

Okay. I just seem to remember something about waste. And it was in that area. .

I used to run 800 repeats in my fit running days on that Straight away along the river from that port to the Coast Guard Station.

84 and 61 aren't terrible roads. I know it's still a popular weekend getaway spot for older womenz.
