We’ve had an influx of people from California, Oregon, and Chicago recently relocate in the city. They’ve brought their self-loathing, white guilt with them. This really isn’t happening in the surrounding counties or suburbs. Still, disappointing nonetheless.

Cost of housing is still very high and factor in any gas/commute/travel time (if you work in Nashville) + HOA fees (if applicable) and you aren’t doing any better whatsoever.
Trust me, I moved to Nashville from Williamson County for that very reason.

Sounds like my buddies bar is getting destroyed, they started breaking his windows and they all abandoned it and got the frick out of downtown.
I've been watching the news as well. What I have seen has been 1312, ACAB, and frick 12. Google it. I can't find anything on frick G12. Maybe Nashville rioters are just stupid? If you look for a frick G12 hashtag on twitter it's some people complaining about senior year of high school.

Lucky you. We weren't as fortunate. We were stuck in the typical suburban rut.

That commute was an absolute pain, but I was pretty far out - Founders Pointe. My job hours aren't really too flexible, and at the end of the day, getting in at 6:45 - 7:00 every night was for the birds.
