It’s amazing to watch a sports organization openly crap on its longtime die hard fans in a Hail Mary attempt to market to people that want absolutely nothing to do with them. It defies logic but their ESG score just went up.

I can't decide who the more annoying snowflakes are the progressives or the conservatives. So many sensitive babies today that get upset over shite that has absolutely no effect on them. Companies have stakeholders and giant deals that require them to be mindful of their ESG score, so they create roles and positions to ensure they remain in a good light. A sport who's most diverse driver up until a few years ago was a guy who is 1/8 Korean and landed a ride through the diversity program. I could imagine that business may need to make some special positions in order to add any diversity at all.

Yeah. Scholarships, internships, and other programs targeting a specific ethnic group or gender have been around for a while. But I don’t think they explicitly forbid whites (or anyone not a part their target audience) from even applying. I think legally that could be where the lawyer has a case.

This makes absolutely no sense. Why would they do this?
I get trying to grow your customer base. But to risk losing a larger share of the customer base is arse backwards. When their attendance and TV numbers fall, there are not enough minorities to make up the difference.
