No, you didn't. Maxwell's Equations fail at the quantum level. There is a quantum parallel to his equations though. Those are contained in the field of Quantum Electrodynamics.

You can't go faster than the speed of light in a vacuum. Light bending or going through a medium will be slower than true 'c'

Actually no, you have to account for the rate of expansion.
Light speed isn't the rate of expansion. The observable universe is likely ~93 billion light years across despite only being 13 billion years old.

I looked it up. Not only do we take into account the light coming toward us, but the movement of objections away from us. Light has one speed, the objects have another. There's more calculus involved, but I found a calculator that explains it mathematically. LINK
