Not a fan of the flat color, might be okay with a slightly darker gloss and that depends entirely on the vehicle it’s applied on.

I tried to convince my wife to get a Nardo Gray S5/RS5 to replace her A5 but she went with an electric blue Q5 instead

Porsche has a color called Grigio Telesto Metallic that is a little darker and shinier and looks great with satin dark silver wheels with a red interior (can't show the red interior because the GT3RS can be specced that way and none of the other 911s have paint to sample currently available on the configurator)

Depending on when he bought the 918 his allocation faucet is about to dry up* and drain back out to the mere mortals. In retrospect it is funny they had to give 10 years of allocations away to buyers just to sell 918s and now just 8-10 years later they go for over twice retail.
*He will still have status at PNA but not the automatic allocations he enjoyed.

Gray is more frequent in American English, whereas grey is more common in British English.

Audi made it cool. Copycats made it hohum. Of course in Audi flavor it is shiney and great. Many of the other manufacturers made it matte or satin. I passionately dislike matte and satin because I wouldn’t want to keep them clean.
