Just stopped throwing up every 30 minutes about 2 hours ago after taking Zofran. Feel like death. Running a fever and feel like I’ve been hit by a train. Imagine living in the jungle and getting sick like that with no medicine. Such a slow and painful death.

Oh man I got like that once in Costa Rica. Thought I was going to die. I was even willing to folk out some serious cash to get a helicopter to come get me. Cooler heads prevailed. That was a long 36 hrs.

Worst part was the little town I was in shut off the water at night. No way to wash throw up off of me or out of my mouth.

I feel for you bro. Hang in there.

Maybe being exposed to bacteria that I’ve never been exposed to before? Lol. You think that water is the only thing that can get you sick here?

Wife got sick while we were in Cusco. Hotel called a doctor who came by ambulance and transported her to clinic. She got her own room with another full size bed next to her where I slept watching TV.

Stayed overnight and paid $350 US which I'm sure was the gringo rate.

Had to drag her on the plane back to Lima and to the US the whole next day.

Worst part was I watched the entirety of After Earth with Will Smith and his kid with Spanish subtitles.
