If the op is talking about success in longevity of the show and people watching there are plenty. And survivor is up there.
But the answer he gave made me think was it successful in accomplishing its goal for the contestants. Like lose weight or find love.
Im thinking ultimate fighter because the winners get a ufc contract and some of them went on to be successful fighters in the UFC.

Does American Idol count? Because between Kelly and Carrie you have enough hardware to call the show a success. Especially hitting on Kelly Clarkson out the chute.
And that’s not even counting runners up like Jennifer Hudson and Daughtry

American Idol produced some middling to star level talent.

The Apprentice. Turned out to be much more successful than many of us would have preferred . It was really popular back in the day and ran for many seasons.
It would have ran for more. Trump turned down extending the show to run for president.

Big Brother was pretty good with the free range whack jobs but now it's just a scripted, unwatchable mess. All these shows have the story line steered by production anyway by the questions they ask. If it's not just outright scripted all together.

Which seasons do you recommend?

I don't think it was said, and it obviously won't be everyone's cup of tea here, but Teen Mom has been on for 15 years.

Jersey Shore.
They've been on since 2009, and I didn't even realize until today when I saw a commercial, that they're STILL making shows. I'm beyond shocked.
