It's fricking gross. I don't feel weird for thinking that. And you won't convince me otherwise.

That is looking like a slippery slope fallacy to me.

Pretty sure you need consenting adults to enter into a contract anyways.

I'm not one of these "alpha/beta" guys, but I think it has to do with biological make-up. Men are the aggressive hunters. It is in the DNA(my opinion only,) that the hunters look down on the weaklings that pray on the low hanging fruit that is other weakling males, while they're off providing for the tribe. They wouldn't dare try to mess with the hunters woman(of course, it's OK for the hunter to come home early to find his woman in the cave with another hunter's woman.)

At times so do I, but that's a religious and subjective opinion of mine. There is no constiutional basis for gay marriage to be illegal. Gays marrying is exercising their civil rights under the 14th amendment with due process, equal protection and equal citizenship rights, it's also two consenting people exercising the freedom to enter into a contract with each other and both people honoring that contract.

I'll agree is may be partially subjective, but I do fall into the "natural" camp as well. I'm not a religious person, and don't base that opinion on any religious views I have. I don't necessarily agree with the 14th amendment portion, as they are free to marry anyone of the opposite sex that will enter into that contract with them. The same as anyone else. I do think they should be able to enter into contracts that allow the same property rights as a married couple.

I say this as someone who supports gay marriage. I also support gov't leaving people the hell alone if nobody is being hurt, stolen from, or slandered/defrauded.

I agree with you on it too.

Realistically, that is never going to happen.

how? I have family members that are "queer", and there is nothing natural in their relationships. By the way, they call me "gueer" for being straight ....

You are comparing people having sex with animals having sex in your first paragraph, then you say you hope that I'm not doing it. Ok.

Where did I make a comparison?

A species having sex with another occurs in nature, so it is natural.

I hope you aren't trying to compare an action between 2 consenting adults with a person fricking a bear

I stated a fact and answered the question you asked. I don't see any comparison of 2 consenting adults having sex with sex b/w a man and an animal

I could give a frick about what people do behind closed doors. I'm not against gays but I'm definitely opposed to gay marriage. Marriage is a Sacrament between a man and a woman. Marriage between two people of the same sex is not mentioned in the Bible. You want to know about disgusting, I once worked with a guy who told me and a couple of others, that he and his wife would shite on each other and rub the shite over their bodies. Another coworker stated that he would insert a teabag inside of his wife's vagina, then get her hot and wet, and he would lick the "hot" tea from his wife's vagina. You have people all over that are into kinky sex. Homosexuality is the least of my problem, my problem is a pedophile who ruins a person for life.

Wouldn't traditional marriage, according to the Bible, be between a man and several women?

I guess you didn't read the title. No one is arguing for access to your church's wedding. Even if you are right, it doesn't matter. God can still block them at the gates

Because if homosexuality appears in nature outside of humans, it's natural .

It occurs in nature. Is there a different definition of "natural"?

A lot of ignorant people in this thread. It's the resistance that makes gays show their pride even more. It's funny watching the conservatives get all riled up though!

The resistance will die out more and more with each passing generation.
quote:

Fisher and colleagues (2004) compared the arrest histories of heterosexual and gay/bisexual male participants in two research studies based in southern California. Sexual orientation classification was based on past 30 day sexual behaviors. The study found that gay/bisexual men were 55% less likely than their heterosexual counterparts to ever have been arrested, and that, among them: (1) prior substance abuse treatment history was the strongest predictor of arrest; (2) current employment was a protective factor; and (3) sex exchanges for money and drugs and a history of STD infection were predictive of prior arrest.

Gays make and spend more money than the average citizen and are more educated. They are WAAAY less likely to be arrested than heterosexuals too.

The fact that anyone thinks that they are the cause for the country or society's problems is ridiculous. I hope they continue to completely revitalize run down neighberhoods around the country.

A lot of sexual acts by both sides are pretty gross. I don't find it any more disgusting than trashy people displaying PDA and completely sucking face in public.

People get annoyed with the pride and extravagant display many on the homosexual side display. While it is certainly prevalent, remember that you are only seeing the extremes who do not represent the entire group; not to mention that they feel wronged which just makes them more vocal. The extremists exist in every single group of people in the world. All Christians aren't the Westboro Baptist Church, all Republicans aren't Sean Hannity, all Democrats aren't Al Sharpton, and all Presidents aren't Obama.

I would not be surprised if the genes that lead to homosexuality serve(d) a useful purpose to mankind 'a survival.

Other traits, like allergies, have been discovered to have been helpful to the survival of humanity.
