Should black people be fired for using honky and cracker on the job or over a company phone...or just white people for using the n word?
I'm discussing what happened, you want to discuss other things that are not happening in this story.

It's safe to assume the word wasn't "diet"

its pointing out a double standard...sorry you aren't intelligent enough to see that...or maybe you are but know that you can only answer it one way without looking like a hypocritical racist

I'm discussing what happened,
she should catch more hell for trying to get an employee fired than she should for using the n word...or is using the n word worse than trying to mess with someones job to you?

Again, it's irrelevant to this story, but you already know that.

So why do non-black people typically use that word?
Probably in a derogatory sense.
However, I've seldom if ever, seen it used in direct interaction with a black person.
Now answer MY question: why do black people use it?

to be offensive
your turn...why do black people use racial slurs towards other races?

Probably in a derogatory sense.

Can you point me in the direction of where that occurred in this story?

I'm done with you.

DEFLECT!!! Your nonsense has nothing to do with THIS story.
It's NOT said to be offensive
It's said to be derogatory
So basically, this poster thinks that if you use a derogatory term to describe a group of people, you're NOT being offensive.
Poor dude can't keep track of his posts.

People can argue about double standards and whether or not someone would get suspended if they used a certain word, but it really comes down to this.
No matter what you think, just don't give them a reason to fire or suspend you. Someone could say things, that are against policy, all the time and no one seems to ever think twice about it, but if something happens and they suddenly need a reason to fire you.. they have it.
There is the argument "why is it wrong for white people to say the N word, but blacks say it to each other all the time?". It has more to do with the context.... or the perceived context. Then there is the difference between "er" and "a".
It's like the word bitch. If two female friends are talking and joking around and one tells the other "you are such a bitch" and she says "I know" and they both laugh... hahaha... If those same two women were having lunch and some random dude went up to them and yelled "both of yall are dumb raggedy bitches!".. Is that the same?

Nope.
What I said, in essence, is that you're losing your mind over this.
The "nope" was in response to your question as to what I was saying. As should have been clear with my next statement beginning with "What I said..."
I'm afraid it's you that looks foolish here. Perhaps a reading comprehension class would help you?
