Nah, just don't have girly arms.

What is the weight difference between a 20 rd box of 762 and 556?

I understand derails but this thread is pathetic, you guys all need to move to another post and preferably the poliboard here. WTF

FWIW here's an article on the switch. Its well known (or so I thought) that the switch did largely have to deal with the weight and the ability of the average soldier to carry many more rounds of 5.56 per a certain weight

Well, 500 rds of 762 x 51 will weigh about 6-8 lbs more than the 556.

I don't carry 500 rds, and the weight is negligible over the distances I walk.

All of these threads devolve in to gun control arguments. Every time. Its just how people are wired.

People see a tragedy and they feel the need to do something to prevent another one. Personally, I think the last few years should make it abundantly clear that a government acting just to say they did something isn’t a good way to govern.

if people want certain items banned while stating people should have the right to other, similar items; they need to put forward a framework a little sturdier than “well it’s common sense” on an issue that’s clearly divided if they actually hope to arrive at anything resembling a satisfactory answer to how a society should look or function. I’d agree that conversation isn’t suited for this thread, this thread should be about updates on the situation.

I’m still laughing at how the idiot couldn’t comprehend talking about the weight of a magazine.

"Do gooders" always think you have to "do something" and that's a terrible way to govern humans beings.

They've banned alcohol and drugs, that sure didn't work. You would think lessons would be learned by now.

Banning as a solution just creates more dangerous alternatives.

What is the last update? Don't feel like going through the whole thread.

Death toll still remains at 4. There are at least 4 critical patients at various hospitals, including 3 females in medical induced comas.
Suspects have not been named
People that ran out, felt comfortable enough to re-enter the building a few minutes after the shooting.

ALEA - head agency on this - is asking for witnesses, videos, and offering $5,000 for information. They are not providing much of an update on why the say the community is safe...

Carbin Holdon, the 23 year old deceased with a criminal past, was not invited to the party, but called by his cousin to come there because "he was concerned..."

Looking more and more like the football player was trying to control the situation and get people that weren’t supposed to be there, to leave

Who was ever talking about the weight of a magazine and why is the weight of a magazine relevant?

It’s only divided because some people want to call others “do gooders” and dismiss every change as fascist or infringement.

Its literal infringement.

But you don't seem to understand many definitions.

Everything you have proposed does nothing to limit gun violence, it just makes the gun trade more dangerous.

You’re welcome. I’m happy to talk about the weight of a magazine fully loaded with ammo all day. But the weight of a magazine?

Yes. Now try really hard to go back in the thread where we were having this discussion and figure out the relevance.

Try really hard. Re-read the posts a third and fourth time if necessary.
