depends on the 2 states. Some share info, some don't.

In LA a bench warrant will be issued and is active until served.

DL will be flagged and I am thinking each state honors the others with a reciprocal agreement. He'll have to clear it up to get a clean DL at some point.

Buddy of mine tried to buy a gun and was on the "terrorist" list or some such shite with Homeland Security and his application was denied.

Come to find out he had an unpaid speeding ticket in some po-dunk Arkansas village.

DWI being as serious as it is today, best thing your pal can do is take care of it.
