Getting some rain here off Coursey in big BR. Any amount is welcome!

Good luck. You have yourself what I call a Summer wallower......it just wallows around in the same spot for a while, not moving much, but dumping on the places under it. It is already losing some steam.

Yea heading kinda in my direction but it’s weakening a lot. And fast. I get to see the clouds, the lightning, hear the thunder, and feel the breeze while my grass gets kissed by a sprinkle or two and says “thats it?”.

Sun is already back out

Hell, we got right at 2" of rain in under an hour a few weeks ago. A mile and a half up the road was dry......got nothing. It started out with a 5 minute hail storm that I didn't think was going to stop. Nothing big, but a lot of pea to quarter size.

I’m just happy to see some clouds. Any rain August in South Louisiana is a blessing.

I got about ten minutes of good rain. Definitely appreciated, but would have liked a fair bit more

fricking line of storms completely dissipated right before it got to my house

Same here. I'm used to it. Been doing the same thing for 4 weeks. I didn't even let the hope of rain interrupt me dragging my sprinkler out.
