You can tell she has two dresses on, because of how much bulkier it looks compared to other photos of her. I much prefer Idina Menzel's version of "Let it Go" to this one.

It's most likely in the floor, kinda like how Michael Jackson would have the hold points come out of the stage to hook his shoes into to do the the lean. The fog machine covers it all up, could have powerful electromagnets in the floor that turn on andt attach to something at the bottom of her dress and then have the magnets pulled back quick to bring the quick change dress off her.
