My son is three and has never had a full night sleep. It is draining.

My wife has followed baby wise religiously. My son began sleeping from 8pm to 7am without waking through the night at 6 weeks old.
He was born at nearly 10 lbs and now at 6 months is nearly 22 pounds.

Sick kiddo in one hand, TD in the other. At least I'm not the only one.

Switch from Muscle Milk to just regular formula.

When my son was between the ages of 18 moa and 4, he would wake up the same way. Shaking, flailing his hands, screaming " stop stop, no no". Dr said it was night terrors and he would grow out of them. He did and it usually occurred when he was really really tired.

Might be her bed. Is she still in a crib or anything like that? We put my kid in a twin bed when she started throwing midnight parties.

This is when it would happen to mine, if he missed a nap that day I knew it was coming.

I just made the same mistake. My little man slept with us for 1 night and it was over. It was like starting over. Took about a month to get back to normal.

Regardless of how tired you are, do not bring the baby back into bed with you. Rock until she goes back to sleep. Repeat when she wakes back up.

Kids sleeping in bed with you is a terrible habit and it's a tough one to break once they start.

So you didn't feed him or are you saying that you just had to wake him?

it may be a combination of teeth and what a few here have said...night terrors.

this is a real thing during those "terrible twos"

I have 4 children and my youngest is 6...it will pass...just hang in there and comfort...that is the best you can do...

If she is sick then it could be the fever and or medicine making her hallucinate a little bit. Or like I said it be that she's so tired she's delirious.

My 24 month old son is cutting his eye teeth and they are hurting him at night, he wakes up no matter what meds we try, and he points to his teeth and tells us.

It's almost over but it's been a rough month. He slept like a rock before this, with maybe waking up once or twice a night, fussing a minute or two but falling right back asleep.

I believe it's around this time developmentally that children feel separation anxiety. It sounds pretty normal boss, good luck.

1) she is only allowed in our bed when she is legitimately sick

so the 14 month old knows the difference whens she's "legitimately" sick?
