I’m so glad this turned into a shite talking thread.

33,
It’s the safest approach because we let everyone in the world that can crank up a jet know that we can kick the ever loving shite out of them if they decide to point it towards us

That's not very nice. You talked shite about the branch that someone decided to serve their country in. You called them weak, then got your panties in a wad when I called you out. Typical for your MOS.

Joined at 19 and did a 6 year stint. I was in college and failng miserably due to partying constantly. I never asked my mother, just showed up and told her I had joined. Left 2 weeks later. The air force is by far the best branch. He did good. My only regret is that my mother passed away a few months after I came home. I wish I could go back and spend those 6 years with her now.

Definitely a fair point, and i’m Glad. You look back in the earlier half of the century and the survival rates for pilots were dismal.

Yes, but incredibly reversed. No longer in the game, but our air forces combined are such a lethal, efficient killing machine that there really isn’t any competition out there. And we should keep it that way.

When it comes to learning a trade that you can do in the civilian world, I agree. I tried to talk my son into AF, but he followed me and my Dad and went Army. He is stationed in Hawaii, so that is cool.

Lol. It was a serious question.

That's a lot of math.

Sometimes you kill, sometimes you get killed, then you go to Copeland’s and drink all night for free.

Private jokes don't really work on message boards.

They do, if you know your audience.
