I could be way off but I don't think you get to choose your job. They assign you and it is luck of the draw.

Pretty much. You could when I went put in for certain areas you want. Ie attractions, merch. or lifeguard for example. I did have a friend the year I went that fell through the cracks and by the time he got there all that was left was janitorial jobs. His job sucked, but he was the only person I knew who was doing that job.
