My neighbor was bragging......

that his kid has FFF in the first 3 nine weeks for his high school math course and was going to fail the course. However, now with this distance learning shite for the whole 4th quarter, it will be easy for his kid to cheat on assignments/tests and get an A to pass the course with the required quality points.
I wanted to say “and does that make you proud? Do you really think your kid deserves to pass?”, but instead I just laughed it off and said “that’s crazy”
What does the OT think?

schools are just glorified daycares. pass/fail really not that big of a deal. Many skills are more important that school, social skills for instance. That boy will probably be a supervisor someday and do okay. seems unfair but school subject and grades are not comprehensive.
