You don’t get the money for the murder if you don’t murder.
I ,in no way , think that your basic hitmen are smart people, but texting the guy beforehand really screws up your chance of getting either the murder or the extortion done cleanly. I would think the element of surprise, and lessening your chances of getting caught would be of the utmost priority.
