This has got to be my biggest grammar pet peeve there is. People think they are smart by using "____ and I". It makes people sound much more stupid than when they use "____ and me" incorrectly. Its like they are trying to sound smart, yet in doing so, they made themselves sound even dumber. I see it all the time on FB from people who think they are more important than they really are. I want to call them out on it, but I'm not that big of an a-hole. I just enjoy knowing they are dumb.

That does make people sound uneducated, particularly in business writing, but it rarely effects the clarity of the sentence. The ambiguous use of "they, them" bugs me a lot more.

I can honestly say that the one on the right should be wearing the pants in the family.

How is that statue still standing?

Because no one gives a frick other than the politicians who make it an issue in order to gain national attention.

Of all the black mayors New Orleans has had, is it the white politicians that always make an issue out of the statues?

I know, I have an apt in the Lower Pontalba, my sister in Law had a Pontalba apt on St Ann, her name was Anne, I got in the habit of referring to it as the St Anne apartment. My apologies.
