Ever find any high quality used panties? You know what I’m talking about.

Used albums don’t sell for shite and it’s even worse now with new pressings coming out.
I still like to pick up "Property of X - Loaned from promotional purposes - Do not sale" albums. Especially ones with handwritten liners note by DJs noting which songs that can and can't play, times, etc. They are little pieced of history from when radio actually meant something. I have probably 75 classic rock albums from the 60s and 70s. I only buy ones in good shape unless the notes are really cool. Some are really heavy pressings but those usually have attenuated HF and have more compression than the contemporaneous consumer weight pressings.

Dave Brubeck and Nat King Cole are two solid finds for sure.

I’m curious as to whether you have an eye for antique bottles.
I do.
I’m not talking about Coke hobble skirts or ACLs from the 50s.
I’m talking about the real ones.
If you understand this message respond to it.

Not really. I know what to look for, but I wouldn’t know if it’s old or reproduction.
My expertise is vintage LSU, toys, strange items, historic papers/letters, sporting goods.
Toys are my strongest trait.

Ive always thought that American Pickers was a dumb show because the math just doesn't work out. In order to do what they do you would need to show up with a SEMI and offer them a super low price to cover everything remotely valuable.
The notion that they drive around buying 5 things here and there is just dumb. Sure its interesting, but there ain't no way you could do that and be profitable.
There are different articles that say a few a negative things about this show. Sometimes the deals are prearranged and the negotiation is just fake. Also those two main guys aren’t as friendly as they come off on the show. Another issue is the show will bring an interesting item to a site and then they have fake negotiation. I still enjoy watching because I like the history I learn about.

FYI for anyone interested, Kenilworth is having a neighborhood wide garage sale tomorrow.
I’ll be there in about 5 1/2 hours
