If that's the Paula Deen cookbook with the fried butter, you've struck gold.

I think I had a mild heart attack just reading that.

The McKay's used store here sells loose legos for $1 per ounce. So, yeah that's a steal. If they bought at half that you are looking at $200.

Really nice fan. Question... are you seeing many 925 silver items as well as gold filled old scrap jewelry?

Dats Joe Dirt's momma's clowns! Lose that frown. When you're down, stare at a clown

My mom has that same mantle clock sitting on her upright piano. Did it come with the key to wind it?

I see (and pass on) gold filled jewelry all the time, not too valuable. I buy any 925 I come across, that’s cheaply priced. The lady that sold me the poster, had a Mignon Faget ring. She was asking $50, which is an ok price, but I passed. It’s only worth $70 or so.

That fan looks like it would take your finger off without much resistance.

You mean story. I was wondering if anyone caught the reference, “Tortoise & the Hare Race, Let’s Go!”

You can't pay "way too much" for priceless artifacts...
My grandma had those "scary" clowns, a couple of the exact same ones.

I was excited at first when I got the fan because I thought it had brass blades, but come to find out, they are just gold tone.

Are you going to garage sales to find this stuff? I only ever find garbage at garage sales.

I’ll take the Lego for $75

Why do you think I bought it?

The Barbie cases could almost double as an ant farm.

The Legos, TMNT’s, Barbie boxes, Le Creuset, and Star Wars figs came from an estate sale.
The rest came from just three garage sales.
The clothes from one, the poster & camping plates from another, and the rest from a third sale.
