Dad flew the USMC Privateer (Marine version of the B-24, PB4Y-1) towards the end of WWII (he was 19). As the war wound down and after it ended, the Marines converted one of the planes to a VIP transport plane. So, Dad flew one of Adm. Nimitz flight legs home after the surrender. He flew around a ton of prominent Admirals and Marine Generals (Howlin' Mad Smith, Chesty Puller, etc.). Each signed a "short snorter" that Dad had. Unfortunately, shitty people over the years removed many of the autographed bills, leaving me with Holland Smith's (along with some lesser know Lt. Generals) signed bill and another bill with a bunch of Admirals but I cannot discern the signatures.

I have Dad's flight logs, but unfortunately there are some blanks which I assume (and Dad confirmed) are where the flights were "secret."

I was going through stuff with my mom and we are trying to figure out what to do with my grandpas war loot:
- nazi flag
- luftwaffe officers dagger (a bit rusty, went through Katrina)
- me in kampfe in German autographed by some small town mayor on a couples wedding day.
Any idea what it’s worth or what to do with it?

The best stuff got stolen in the past - nickel plated Luger
