The biggest beefs I have with my SIL are usually over alcohol.
two biggest offenses:
first offense: I bought a bottle of wine ($200) for my son's birth. The plan was to drink it with him on his 18th or 21st birthday. Five years later, I was outside cooking and SIL came out with a glass of wine. I asked him, "You brought some wine?" He said no this is the red you had in the cabinet. I knew instantly what he'd done.
Last offense: Went to their house in Texas for the LSU season opener this year. I brought a bottle of Garrison Brothers for us for the game. Around lunchtime, I looked over and he's sipping whiskey. I made the comment about it being too early for all that and that he'd never make it to game time (I thought he was drinking woodford or maker's). He said he had never had the GB and wanted to try it. I looked and the bottle was on the counter.
