Ive had this thread bookmarked for days now and I finally get to the end only to get no final update on whats going on. The OT needs answers on who is still in one peace. I also want to know how long the old man was stuck on the porch.

Sorry to disappoint you fine folks, but I found myself in banland once again.
Father in law spent about an hour locked out of the house before my wife got home and let him in. It was an honest mistake on my part and I apologized.
The trip to Natchitoches in the van wasn’t too bad. I drove both ways but he paid for dinner for everyone so that was a nice trade off.
I did talk to him about the kitchen and the damage to my lawn. He learned to use the vent while cooking. He also apologized about my yard and promised to help repair it when I’m ready to do so.
Christmas Eve night, we had some of our friends over for drinks and dinner. Father in law got a little too friendly with some of the ladies and had to be reprimanded by my wife and mother in law. He followed my wife’s coworker too closely and she stopped abruptly and he crashed into her back with a huge glass of wine and then he tried to wipe it off of her dress
Christmas Day was uneventful as we were all out of energy by that point. Everyone departed this morning.
Tldr. Sorry for not updating. I was suspended. Didn’t fight father in law.

Damn. This mf has problems.
Clearly, your mother in law and her kids never set a precedent with this guy in regards to others. Lady probably took shite all her life and threaten to leave him behind his back, but never had the stones to follow through or even talk straight up to the man.
