Sounds like it’s time to drop kick that wiener

They are some defiant little bastards. I had one that was a terror on snakes when I lived in La.

Mostly unrelated to OP but I don’t understand why anyone would buy a weiner dog or a chihuahua.
I don't know much about chihuahuas, but weiner dogs are pretty much indestructible and live for a long time. The miniatures live even longer. They are good family dogs. Unless your sole purpose is to have a guard dog, there's really no reason to not get one. Even for that purpose, they will make a racket of noise for someone or something they don't like.

100% true
Have one that is 8 and one that will soon to be 4.
I can't tell you how many times they will curl up down by our feet in bed and I've accidentally yeeted them off the bed while tossing in my sleep. Thought I'd have paid for a back surgery by now.
Also great at keeping the floors clean and as he said, not guard dogs but if anyone ever tried to break in, they'd wake me up in plenty of time with barking to get out of bed and grab my gun

This would all be more interesting if you'd bitten him. I imagine you'd catch some downvotes, though.

So he got the sausage and bit you with no consequences?
I made him sleep in his travel carrier last night in solitary confinement. There are no windows. His only view was of steel bars.

So, it sounds like he won. You were bitten, and he ended up being presented food.

Those two breeds are not in the same universe.

There's just nothing like a dachshund. I've had 4 and will always have one. Just the coolest little guys.

Have you ever brought a second in, and if so how did the first respond? We're thinking about getting another one and curious how our 14 year old would respond.
