My best friend's girlfriend has a best friend that is a lesbian...

My best friends' SO is best friends with a dyke of a lesbian. (sorry, no pics)
Don't ask me how they ended up that way, all I know is that they've known each other for a long time.
My friend seems really insecure about that relationship, as the dyke best friend has said multiple times "I wish you were gay"... They stay at each others' apartments frequently, and hang out probably once or twice a week. His girlfriend doesn't see the problem with it and gets irritated at him for questioning the relationship.
Should my friend to just stop being a little bitch about it? Or is he within his rights to be irritated by it? He has equated it to if she had a guy friend that she spent time with frequently who has admitted to wanting to date her. Makes sense to me, and I understand it, but sometimes he comes across as whiny and stupid.

Is the lesbian's cleenis bigger then your friends? If so, then he should be worried.

There's a difference between a normal girl who is gay, and a dyke. I've always thought dykes are the girls who attempt to look like men - that's what this girl is. Am I wrong on that? Should I change the wording?

No you got the context right. Maybe its the slang word for jews that rhymes with dyke that you can't day here. I don't know.

If it was an attractive lipstick lesbian, then your friend would have every right to be worried.
But considering that this other woman is labeled as a "dyke", I assume that she is pretty rough around the edges and fairly masculine.
If your best friend is insecure about trumping a lesbian when it comes to masculinity, then I'd say that he has already lost the battle.
The dyke is in the friend zone. That's all it is.

No, you aren't wrong.
A dyke is a girl that dresses and acts very masculine. And when it comes to hitting on women, they're more aggressive than any man that I've ever seen.

Good points... I tried to basically insure him that it seemed a lot like a "friend zone" kind of relationship. He just doesn't understand the need for the relationship at all, but feels like he'd be being a giant douche for asking her to stop with the sleepover type stuff.

If his SO is an attractive female, she's not likely to be turned on by a butch female. Your friend is ok. Bi women usually are only attracted to the same type of women we're attracted to.

That's a FACT. I don't know this one very well, but the ones I've been around definitely fit that role.

The Lesbo will sabotage the relationship. I've seen it happen.
