Truly inspirational. Would love to live out west. Money is a problem though.

That's cool, too. If doing whatever you do makes you happy - then keep doing it. If it doesn't - figure out a way to change it. That's all I was saying.

That will look different for everyone.

Whatever floats your boat. Some people prefer stability and security, others prefer adventure. It's in your DNA.

We shall see if you feel the same way about Colorado after a full winter there.

Colorado is all of the rage these days.

I hear a weekend trip to the mountains from Denver is a traffic nightmare.

That said, if I was wealthy I'd have a vacation home in a small CO or CA mountain town.

Been thinking about this a lot lately as I approach the last year of my thirties. And though I've done my share of things, I still have some unfinished business.

Just like those who came before us, we are all destined to become food for worms.

My friend who has lived in beautiful Grand Lake for close to 40 years, tells me there are plenty of people like you who moved there because then they'd be "happy".

What really happened is they brought their problems with them. It fricked the place up.

Moving someplace isn't going to make you happy. Not in the long run. That come from within.

That said, I'd much rather be miserable in Grand Lake than in Tuscaloosa.

Definitely recommend if you live in Tuscaloosa and can get out do it.

Good thing I live in Texas and have no reason to leave.

Solid advice.

I did the same thing a little over two years ago. Moved from Baton Rouge to Boston. Couldn't have made a better decision.

Whenever we leave here someday I want to either make the move to Colorado or California.
