Has she been living on her own the last few years?

My 18 yo daughter moved to DC in August. I worry, but...

So yes, be worried. Or have another beer and bet on a football game to distract yourself.

Seriously though, if it were me, I’d pay for a friend to go with her.

Nah, just tell her not to take the ferry over to Morocco.....so the religion of peace members don't cut her head off and send you the video.

FWIW, I’ve got a kid who just entered junior high. We’ve been shocked at how many school trips they are promoting. Like week plus trips to Europe and shite. They’ve always got something going to New York, Houston, etc. I mean it’s all supervised/traveling in a group, but junior high seems way young to be globetrotting. Not that Houston is exactly globetrotting, but the others seem too far away from home for a 12 year old.

OTOH, by the age 23 your daughter should be good. I mean YOUR daughter will be okay. Mine will stay her arse in the continental US until she’s at least 40.

I did something similar in my 20's. My dad was adamant that I didn't do this alone so I did a 21 day guided tour with Rick Steve's Travel company. It was an amazing experience. I recommend having her look into one of the guided tours. Rick Steves has an older crowd with for me was good as I wasn't a partier. But they have younger guided tours with I believe contiki.

You would pay for another person's month in Spain... for your adult daughter? Wow.

You do know that millions of 21 year olds graduate from college and move to places like Chicago, New York, etc., and they handle their shite as adults, yes?

You worry too much. She won't get raped or attacked because she'll be busy sucking and fricking several Spaniards a day. Chill man

I've never used them only Rick Steves. Just know they have a reputation for being a younger crowd.
