Murderer of Joseph Vindel claims he was acting in self defense

For those that remember, Vindel went to the Westbank to sell this guy a dirtbike from Facebook, and the guy murdered him and dumped his body uptown.
Now the guy is claiming that Vindel pulled a gun on him and then he acted in self defense.
Police say the forensics do not back it up as Vindel was shot in the hand that the killer claims he held him up with and there is no damage to the gun or any evidence whatsoever of self defense.
I don't think a Jeff Parish jury is going to believe this thug.

Where is the gun that was pulled and why did he ride away on the motorbike if it was self defense.
If he's claiming that the gun he used to shoot Vindel was pulled by Vindel, he better be able to trace the gun back to Vindel.
Where this SCUMBAG messed up was doing the exchange in Jefferson Parish. If he would have done the deal in Orleans Parish, the piece of pure f*cking FILTH D.A. would have let him off completely.

yeh this seems absurd. I didn't know the kid, but seems quite absurd that he'd be the type to try and rob someone at gun point.
