Chicago has shot over 300 kids. BR is safe by comparison. Nothing to see here.

BR is much more dangerous than Chicago per capita.

Case numbers are important not percentages.

Trust the science not the math

Last time I looked our 2021 murder rate was higher than every other city but Baltimore. We often don't make the "most dangerous cities" lists due to failing to meet the population requirements.

It’s right around the corner from Belaire High School.

What is the demographic of that area these days? I have been led to believe that that area has a lot of Vietnamese peoples but I really don't know. I haven't had occasion to be in that neighborhood in literally 40 years. I didn't know people who went to Belaire or anyone in that neighborhood. I do remember as a 3rd grader in like 1979 going on a school field trip to Belaire to see a play or something.

So Chicago is a lot safer considering they 4× the population?

I filled out a quote form from the website and asked how to pronounce it.
I'll report back if I get a response.

It’s only an average of one out of every 3 days…

BATON ROUGE - An arrest has been made in a Monday evening homicide, police say.

Detectives with the Baton Rouge Police Department were called to 1737 La Annie Drive around 7:30 p.m. Monday in regards to a reported shooting that took the life of 22-year-old Arnishika Baker.

Authorities say Demaris Jenks, 24, is believed to have shot and killed Baker in her La Annie Drive home. Baker passed away at the scene of the crime.

was later booked in the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on a charge of second-degree murder.

Didn’t take BRPD long to clear this murder. Which leads me to believe this could have been a domestic violence situation that led to this Arnishika who was shot to death during the incident.

Neveah Allen was murdered around the corner. They lied and fabricated a missing persons case to coverup the abuse/murder.
