I wish people like you would take this stand had the killers name had been Trujillo. Or go down to the Philippines bombing thread with people bashing Islam.

GOT HIM! Picked him up in Richmond County, Virginia

The entire OT thought he was dead from a self inflicted gunshot in the woods of LA or MS.

Turns out he was driving to Virginia the whole time.

Glad he was caught nonetheless.

A lot of stupid people own guns. I'm not sure that I've ever slept in a house without at least one and yet I know nobody that's been a victim of gun violence. Funny how that works.

You have to run down every lead regardless. The OT was doing the tedious, yet important legwork so the HOA ninjas could swoop in for the glory. It's a team effort.

Sugar , you have swallowed the Marxist critique whole. You instinctively and without critical thought conflate non- related issues and inject race into everything. That’s sad for the country and sad for you. You are the poster boy for the aforementioned Ideologically- possessed. And anytime you value ideology over Truth, you become dangerous and destructive. I pity you and urge you to seek help.

The local sheriff said deputies were at his grandmother's house and Theriot arrived at the residence in a vehicle with a firearm pointed out of the window.

"Deputies sought cover and challenged Theriot, who then dropped the firearm upon their commands and was taken into custody without incident," the sheriff said in a statement to WBRZ.

I wonder if he was planning to kill his grandmother also?

Someone was smart to have law enforcement at her home in case he showed up or maybe they had information that he was on his way there. I'll be interested to know that part of the story. I believe I read that his mother was from VA, so this must have been his maternal grandmother.

The grandmother stayed at a hotel last night. She had the officers go with her this morning to check on the house . While there, Theriot drove up.

So law enforcement must’ve been protecting his grandmother there in Virginia since he was still on the run. Good thing they were there when he arrived. What a sick a-hole to go and (I assume) drive 15 hours to kill your grandmother after killing the rest of your family.

I hope he gets the absolute shite beat out of him daily in jail.

Thanks. I just saw that in the other thread. Poor woman just lost her daughter by her grandson's hand and was now having to worry about her own life. Someone pegged exactly what he was going to do.

Sounds like all 3 residences kicked him out at one point or another.

I'm trying to figure out the families. Billy Ernest was married to Kacee Theriot Ernest and I read somewhere there were two other young children in the house. A 7 year old daughter and very young boy. Allegedly, the 7 year old got her little brother and ran to the neighbor's home. Kacee was apparently a second wife. I found her Facebook page. She has some posts from Oct 2018, but I may not be able to see her entire page. I wonder where she was when this occurred.

The mother of Summer and the brother is Rhonda Champagne. A friend of hers has started a Go Fund Me for their funerals. That was on the Facebook page of Billy's sister, Crystal deYoung, who was mentioned in the news articles.

Surprised there weren’t more victims between LA and VA.

True. I think he was going to kill his grandmother, as well.

I'm wondering how the 7 year old got out with her baby brother without getting killed. I'm glad she did. Still can't figure out where the two youngest children's mother was at the time.

Guns are most likely to be used by intercity dope dealers to kill other intercity dope dealers, or to rob and kill innocent people.
