WALKER – As many as four people are dead and one person injured in two parishes after a gunman went on a rampage in what sources tell WBRZ appears to be connected attacks tied to a domestic situation.

Authorities have not identified the gunman, who as of 11:30 Saturday, appeared to be on the run. WBRZ was able to confirm details by speaking with sources tied to both cases. Three people are dead at a scene in Livingston Parish.

One person is dead and a second injured in a shooting scene in Ascension Parish. Both are connected, sources told WBRZ.

In Livingston Parish, the three people were found at a property on Courtney Road north of Walker. The sheriff’s office has only confirmed the situation there involves “multiple victims.” Courtney Road is a short highway between Walker Rd North and N Corbin, north of I-12 and Walker. The sheriff's office did not release a specific location along the highway of where the homicide investigation is centered.

In Ascension, the sheriff’s office confirmed it is investigating the double shooting there on Church Point Road near St. Amant. One person was killed, the other also shot but is in critical condition. A WBRZ news crew is on the scene at both situations. Watch reports on News 2 at 6 and 10 Saturday evening.

Is it me or has LP been on a roll with murders these past few months. I never thought I would have ever said that Central city is safer than neighborhoods off Juban Rd.

Kind of hard to take up for LP lately with all that’s been going on. Lived here for several years, but I’m thinking about going elsewhere.

We lived in the LP for 7 years and I don't really remember any crime to speak of other than in Eastover and Rodeo Drive

Here’s the thing: none of it is random. Don’t associate with drug heads and lowlifes and this doesn’t happen to you.

These two roads are about 20-25 miles apart. The shootings at both are being reported to have happened about 9 a.m. Are the times reported wrong? I am guessing that they have a reason for thinking the shootings are related.

Supposedly, the one in walker was earlier. I’ve seen some comments that say a little girl in the trailer went to a neighbors around 730am and told them what she had found.

The 2016 flood ruined a shite ton of LP folks financially. Lots of domestic violence has resulted from that.

Two sites and multiple victims sounds like a guy on a "Family Annihilation" mission. His wife's family, his family-but somebody who he feels self-righteous about killing in cold-blood because they somehow "wronged" him. These guys are usually the worst kind of narcissistic and normally in their 30's. These guys usually demonstrate "control" at the end by killing themselves.

He's 6'4. We are going to need a tall tree branch to hang his arse from. What a piece of garbage.
