5.8 is real.
The others were aftershocks.
Chile was non event.
We have 3's in my county on the reg.
Norcal, volcano near here.

There have been 9 Earthquakes around the globe everyday since July 1st, is that odd? Or does that happen often
It's not uncommon. The Yellowstone area has tons of earthquakes and has forever. You can't feel most of them, but some of them are big.

South Louisiana is essentially living ontip of a giant sponge. It's absorbs everything.

Earthquakes aren't a precursor to volcanic activity? Guess the fine fellows at Tulane have it wrong then.

I'm not saying Yellowstone is about to blow I'm just saying that yes earthquakes can be a signal that a volcano is becoming more unstable

Excuse me sir, but the preferred nomenclature is tsunami, not tidal wave.

Earthquakes have "S" and "P" waves associated with them.
The P waves can actually travel through the Earth's core and be detected by seismographs on the other side of the planet.
When the 9.0 Earthquake/Tsunami's hit Malaysia, we had seismographs detect it in the states.

You sir are absolutely correct. Earthquakes are also associated with tectonic plate slippage

Nice knowing you guys.

Obviously this is caused by fracing.

What exactly is fracing?

There are multiple quakes every day. Nothing new
