Great info. Can you give me the link to where you see that surface map? Can't seem to find it on the NWS and SPC sites.

I use that wX app that I always recommend. It has a direct link to the NWS station sites and that map of current obs. Search "wX weather app" in your store. It is free.

Here's a browser link that may work

Thank you, sir. Forgot about that app and I'm not sure why I haven't already installed it.

My dew point is 62 where I am about 20 miles north of Birmingham. It'll be interesting to see if/how much it increases as the warm front tries to progress north. Hopefully it doesn't go up much and the warm front stays south of I-20.

New tornado warning for a storm near Thomasville, AL. This is in SW Alabama.

That embedded supercell NE of Bassfield, MS could catch a warning soon.

A cell merger cut it off for right now. Still has broad rotation. Let's see if it ramps up after that merger.

Feels like the northern extent of the severe threat has definitely shifted northward compared to where it was forecasted to be yesterday. Still looks like it’ll stay south of Birmingham, though.

Prior to the tor warning, that Demopolis storm was (and still is) warned for 70mph wind and baseball sized hail.

Storm near Camden looks bad without even having a good radar shot of it.

This is the most widespread large hail I've seen in LA/MS/AL since I've really been watching radar.

That one's headed right for where I am.
The temperature has dropped down and there is a cold rain falling so I'm feeling better.
A couple of hours ago, I was a bit worried.
