Too bad we no longer have news anchors who lead with puns and word plays.

"And tonight, a not so happy ending for several local massage parlors..."

SWB making room for more serious thugs. She needs more room for additional murderers and drug dealers.

What’s with the surge of massage parlors? You didn’t see so many 15-20 years ago. Is it an easy business to start, or are they just more popular than they used to be?

Those openings appear to happen on a regular basis north of Government.

My guess is that it is a low cost storefront operation becaus all you need is a room with a table.

Not like you need a huge inventory of whatever for that except clean towels.

So they goof around arresting ugly Orientals when there are traffic tickets to be written?

Anyone have a list of the ones busted? I have one outside my neighborhood and wondering if they were caught or not.

Anyone remember Paul Gates Investigative specials on Channel 9? He would've been perfect with his dry sense of humor.

Agreed

Many of these women typically live at the place of business. Unless there is solid proof of trafficking these raids need to stop

The massage industry has grown significantly as the overall health and wellness industry has boomed. 20 years ago, massage was for rich white women. Now, more people are aware of the health benefits associated with massage therapy and it has become less of a “luxury item” solely for women and more of a mainstream service for all genders that want to feel better and healthier and include it in their overall health/wellness routine.

Gyms are similar... you see a gym on every corner now. The overall health and wellness industry is big business these days.

That’s gotta be the reason

I’ve been to several of these places in Texas and a couple in br.

I never been propositioned; that’s not to say it won’t happen to me. I go for the whole experience. I also get my back walked on.

I’m sure some managers don’t allow it but if the workers don’t get a large % of money then that’s one way they earn extra cash by rub and tug

How many rub and tugs did cops get while "investigating" these places?
