quote:Yep. But streaming is why that format will never come back. No one's sitting through three hours of Spin Doctors and P.M. Dawn to hear the song they want anymore.
It happened prior to internet streaming.

Biden economy strikes again. Now they're coming for icons of your childhood.

You are right. My bad. Off the wall was the album and it’s a great tune. But back to my original thought. MTV gave artists instant exposure by putting songs on video.

Maybe "I'd die without you" was what I was waiting on

Daisy Fuentes has been married to Richard Marx for the last 20 years or so. Saw her not too long ago and I definitely wood. Still looks amazing, especially for her age.

I was so blown away that my mom got MTV in our new cable package. I was a year out of high school then.
Billy Idol - White Wedding
Dire Straits - Money for Nothing
Van Halen - Panama
The list goes on and on.

Will they show Ridiculousness or Catfish during the hour MTV News was on?

They’ll be gone for a few years and then they’ll come back and people will pretend like they’re the biggest MTV fans and always have been and they’ll watch for 2 days and then forget about it again.

If someone was to hit play on May 9, 1983's MTV programming and just stream commercials and all from 40 years ago, people would watch. 24 hrs a day, just from 40 years ago. I'd totally have that on in the background.
MTV Classic or something like that is old videos and I’m fairly certain there’s a twitch.tv channel of old commercials on a loop

Been seeing some MTV production on movies/series lately. I was thinking they were making a comeback. (not mtv news, but mtv in general).
