Check out Baltimore airport, you have competition for worst service in the industry.

Laguardia would also like to have a word with you.

And it’s not lost on me that there are only shitholes on this list. MSY staff - the best of the worst!

MSY has the worst collection of misfit employees I’ve ever seen. How do they identify talent? What are their interview processes?

They even frick up Chick-fil-A.

You're surprised that airport concession employees are about the lowest on the food chain?

ETA: How is the airport now? Haven't been since last Feb, before the COVID crap, Loved the new terminal nice.

Recently returned from a trip. Flight was 58 minutes long. Baggage wait time was 38 minutes and I was one of the first ones to get my bags.

Hmm. What else does Baltimore have in common with NOLA?

Another reason to never tip a restaurant worker at an airport! You will never see them again!!

So never tip a restaurant worker if you know you won't see them again?

Wait until they raise that minimum wage, then they will all become great employees.

A lot of the MSY (non airline) employees are contractors. Basically bottom of the barrel making $8-$10/hr so the expectations really shouldn’t be too high

So are their attitudes and work ethics gonna get better when min wage is $15/hour?

Well - 90% of New Orleans people are the worst so that makes sense

Garbage take.

A decent person's approach to work should not be tied to their wage. I think you know this.

Watch and see what happens when minimum wage goes up to $15/hour. I'd bet you a beer their attitude doesn't improve at a rate commensurate with their pay raise.

They should all be shipped to salt lake city and trained there.

I don't understand why it takes them 30 minute to cook a burger at Shake Shack. There is always a disgruntled line there.

Second line of charm is the homeless camp at the corner of Loyola and I-10.

Canal Street (from S. Rampart to the River) could be mistaken for insert Third World Country here. Extreme homelessness, mentally unstable people acting crazy, prostitutes, druggies out in the open, boarded up businesses. It's sad as hell and I can't imagine what the handful of tourists walking around were thinking about our "gateway" to the French Quarter.

Fun Fact about MSY: New Orleans leads all cities (per capita) in people that need wheelchair assistance to pre-board a Southwest flight but can miraculously walk fine off the flight at their destinations.

They are referred to as “Jetway Jesuses”.
